Community-Based Rehabilitation Service (CBRS), Pokhara, announces a vacancy for the position of Community Facilitator. Interested and eligible Nepali citizens are requested to submit a handwritten application along with a CV, copy of citizenship certificate, and a recently taken passport-sized photo to the CBRS office no later than 2082 Mangsir 28.

Position: Community Facilitator (सामुदायिक सहयोगकर्ता)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide home-based support to persons with disabilities and their families.

• Offer psychosocial counseling, motivation, and emotional support to individuals with disabilities.

• Assist in the formation, mobilization, and facilitation of self-help groups of persons with disabilities.

• Support disability assessments, education sessions, and rehabilitation activities.

• Coordinate with schools, local governments, and community members for disability-related programs.

• Participate actively in awareness programs and advocacy campaigns for disability rights and social inclusion.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Minimum academic qualification: +2 (Intermediate) in Social Science, Education, Health, or related fields (preference given to higher studies).

• Preference to candidates with knowledge or experience in disability, social inclusion, community development, or rehabilitation.

• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards community-based work.

• Candidates with a motorcycle/scooter driving license will be given priority.

• Basic computer literacy is mandatory.

• Ability to write reports, maintain documentation, and prepare presentations effectively.

Age Limit:

22 to 40 years
