Vacancy Announcement for Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Sana Kisan Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, a national-level “D” class microfinance development bank licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank, invites applications from qualified Nepali citizens for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

This appointment will be for a four-year term, in accordance with the organization’s rules and the directives of Nepal Rastra Bank. Eligible and interested candidates are requested to apply within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice.

1. Minimum Educational Qualification and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Management / Banking / Finance / Economics / Commerce / Accounting / Statistics / Mathematics / Law / Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized university.

• At least 10 years of experience in banks or financial institutions, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial position.

• Candidates must meet the “Fit and Proper Test” criteria as per Nepal Rastra Bank’s regulations.

• Must not have been blacklisted by any financial institution, nor be convicted of any criminal offense involving moral turpitude.

2. Application Details:

Applicants should submit both printed and soft copies of the following documents:

1. Application letter and detailed Bio-data (CV).

2. Certified copies of Nepali citizenship certificate, academic certificates, and experience certificates (including managerial-level experience).

3. A detailed Business Plan (maximum 5 pages) outlining your strategy for the operation, management, and development of the institution.

4. Soft copy of all documents (in PDF format) must also be submitted via email.

5. Copies of other relevant documents demonstrating professional achievements.

6. Candidates currently working in another institution must submit a No Objection Letter (NOC) from their employer.

3. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, lead, and oversee all operations of the organization efficiently.

• Develop strategic plans and ensure financial growth and institutional stability.

• Build coordination and relationships with the Nepal Rastra Bank, shareholders, cooperatives, and other stakeholders.

• Ensure the institution’s compliance with NRB guidelines and other related laws.

• Guide and motivate staff, ensuring high professional standards and ethical practices.
